An intervertebral stimulation (EPIDURAL PULSED RADIOFREQUENCY – EPRF) is a procedure involving the insertion of an electrode into the epidural area of the spine and cord stimulation through radio waves.
This procedure is applied to patients with neuropathic pains or phantom limb pains, chronic spinal pain syndrome.
The effects are noticeable after approximately 3-4 weeks after the procedure.
Intervertebral stimulation is performed in The Pain Management Center in The Carolina Medical Center.
